The responsibility of Sydney City is to provide our trainees with:

• The full range of work experience required to develop the skills and industry knowledge they need on the job under the guidance of an experienced person.
• Access to on and off the job training in accordance with their traineeship.
• Time at work to undertake the specified training.
• A safe working environment.
• A work environment free from any form of harassment e.g. bullying, sexual, racial.
• Observe the progress of our trainees and develop the required skills and knowledge.
• Payment of their work as set out under the Federal Vehicle Industry Repair, Service and Retail Award.

• Make every effort to acquire the skills and knowledge required by their traineeship.
• Accept all instructions and training given by or on behalf of Sydney City Toyota.
• Fulfil their obligations as an employee.
• Make every effort to complete the required on-the-job and off-the-job training.
