My Toyota Connect- Vehicle Enrolment process

At Sydney City Toyota, we believe driving a Toyota should be easy, safe and an enjoyable experience. Toyota Connected Services is a new feature that is equipped with a variety of technology that focuses on delivering a better driving experience for the customer through features focusing greatly on driver and passenger safety, ease of driving, and greater security features.

The companion your car needs

The initiative demonstrates Toyota’s commitment to delivering the very latest advanced technologies to as many customers as possible and staying up to date with the everchanging market. My Toyota Connect is a companion app as part of Toyota Connected Services that allows for all Toyota owners to remain connected. With a variety of connected features, it allows you to manage your vehicle, access and manage your details and remotely sync with a variety of connected services.

MyToyota Connect app

The MyToyota Connect app allows you to stay connected to your vehicle and up to date with its fuel levels, odometer readings, track the location of your car, remote functionality and more. It makes owning and driving your Toyota easier and more convenient.

The app features driving analytics and insights which make it easier for Toyota owners to have a safer and more economical driving experience. Who doesn’t love a saving in this economy!

Enjoy peace of mind with reminders on car notifications such as service reminders and status notifications. It is functionality improved – delivered via the myToyota Connect app.

Safety features that would greatly add to the driver experience- You can remotely set particular speed limits and time restrictions for certain drivers of the car. This feature would be particularly helpful for families who have Learner or Provisional drivers who have to comply with lower speed limits compared to adults on their full Gold license.

The My Toyota Connect app has an emergency SOS feature to nominate friends and family on the app, automatic collision notification to emergency services, stolen vehicle tracking.

Eligibility for your Toyota model

Updated Toyota Connected Services (TCS) features are available on certain Toyota models only (for now). These models include Toyota Camry, Toyota Landcruiser, Toyota Hilux, Toyota Fortuner, Toyota HiAce Yaris Cross. Available for all Apple users (above gen 11) and Android (above gen 12) smartphone users to access the new app and features.

At Sydney City Toyota, guests are sent an SMS prior to receiving the delivery of their brand new Toyota which has compatibility to the My Toyota Connect app. This allowed for the sales executive to run through the My Toyota Connect vehicle enrolment as part of the delivery process and allows the guest to ask any questions they may have about the service or app features.
