As a Trainee Finance and Insurance Business Manager you will be involved in assessing and advising guests on various forms of finance and insurance products when purchasing their vehicle.

This position involves carrying out a range of duties related to preparing vehicles for delivery to guests.

A typical day involves:

  • Preparing and tidying vehicles for delivery including washing vehicles
  • Dropping off or picking up vehicles from contractors  
  • Attending Service NSW for registration tasks 
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of the showroom area 
  • Assisting Sales Executives and Management with the coordination of vehicle deliveries

The successful candidate must possess the following attributes:

  • Previous experience would be advantageous but is not essential
  • A valid driver's licence (ability to drive a manual)
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work autonomously
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Hard working and highly motivated
  • A fantastic work ethic
  • Positive attitude and good communication skills
  • Computer skills/or willingness to learn

This role is permanent and full time working, 8.30am - 5.30pm Monday-Friday.

The main focus of this role is to provide our customers with high quality finance and insurance products. This role encompasses a variety of tasks including:

  • Advising clients on various forms of finance and insurance products,
  • Aligning finance and insurance activities with the broader business plan,
  • Securing competitive interest rates and financing programs,
  • Reporting of actual performance against set targets, and
  • Training sales teams on finance programs, the benefits of the dealership's financing and extended service programs.

The ideal candidate should have the following attributes:

  • A solid understanding of the retail automotive industry as well as the legislative requirements of the financial services industry. 
  • Availability for working weekends
  • Previous experience in a finance and insurance role are essential to be considered for this position.
  • You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, outstanding customer service skills, previous sales experience and the ability to profile customer's needs.
