About the Role:

  • As a Salesperson, you’ll be the face of our dealership, engaging with customers, guiding them through their vehicle buying journey, and ensuring that every interaction is memorable. You will be responsible for:
  • Customer Engagement: Building relationships and delivering Personalised experiences to every customer.
  • Negotiating and Closing: Using your sales expertise to secure deals while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Superior Customer Experience: Going the extra mile to exceed expectations and ensure customer loyalty.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A passionate communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Sales experience in the automotive industry (or a strong desire to learn!).
  • A customer-first mindset, always striving to provide an exceptional experience.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple tasks with ease.
  • Knowledge of Toyota vehicles is a plus but not required – we’ll teach you all about them!

Automotive Technician

Automotive Technician

Sydney City Toyota is renowned for the delivery of automotive excellence and unsurpassed service. We currently have an opportunity available for a qualified Automotive Technician to join our successful service department at our Waterloo Dealership.


This position will see you performing a range of engine and mechanical tests to diagnose, repair and service vehicles. Your day will consist of but is not limited to:

  • Providing expert advice in relation to the mechanical condition of vehicles
  • Repairing mechanical parts of vehicles such as engine, transmission and suspension systems
  • Complete all aspects of mechanical repairs including clutches, gearbox repairs, brakes and especially diagnostic repairs
  • Providing guidance to apprentice technicians


We are looking for technicians with:

  • A developed and extensive knowledge of vehicles (preferably Toyota) and the ability to work proactively in an autonomous environment
  • A high attention to detail with a good work ethic
  • A current & valid driver’s license
  • Candidates will also hold a Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology (Light Vehicle) and an unrestricted MVRIA license
